Assem Khater holds the demolition order he was given by Israeli authorities. Assem built his house in Burqin back 2007 and has lived there with his family since. In 2022, he was sent this demolition order notifying him that his family’s home was going to be destroyed because it is located in Area C, in the West Bank. His house is near an illegal Israeli settlement, and upon demolition, the settlement will expand.
