Brother Basem, We Remember

(First photo) Basem is seen at a demonstration against the Wall holding a poster of Yasser Arafat. The Israeli army put barbed wire on the ground to prevent the resistance movement from moving further towards the construction site. Basem was killed during a demonstration, shot by a tear gas canister directly into his chest. (Second photo) Basem’s martyr photo sits on the couch in his mother’s home, next to his sister, Jawaher’s, who was also killed during a demonstration by inhaling tear gas.
