Daily Tea in Mourning a Martyred Son

Mai Abd Al Jabber prepares tea in her kitchen while recounting the story of her son, Ahmed Hossam Yousif Musa. Ahmed was killed by the Israeli army at 10 years old, he was sitting under the shade of a tree after a demonstration against the Wall. The army circled back after the protest had ended and started shooting at the shebab (boys), killing Ahmed in the shade. His martyr photo hangs above the family’s salon.
