Fatima Stands Strong

(First Photo) Fatima, a women’s rights organizer from Biddo, is in front of the women’s protest march during the resistance to the Wall in 2004. She organized this unarmed demonstration consisting of Palestinian, Israeli and International women unifying together against the Apartheid Wall. (Second Photo). Fatima stands, powerfully still, with her village as her backdrop, 18 years later.
